Banana Muffin Power: Protein-Packed Peanut Butter Recipe

The fundamental principle of the protein-first strategy simplifies dietary planning: center your meals around protein, and the rest often falls into place effortlessly. Embracing this approach facilitates achieving a leaner physique, building muscle, managing cravings, and making healthier food choices, all without solely relying on chicken breasts or eliminating carbs and fats from your diet.

The key lies in substituting traditionally delectable foods with versions that offer a higher level of satiety, leading to a reduced overall calorie intake. This strategy revolves around transforming desserts into protein-rich indulgences. A perfect illustration of this concept is found in the following recipe.

Peanut Butter Banana Muffins
These muffins utilize MD protein (available on Amazon) and powdered peanut butter, resulting in fewer calories, reduced carbohydrates, and double the protein content compared to many “healthy” muffin recipes. Despite the modifications, the delightful flavor remains intact.

Ingredients

3 small ripe bananas (or 2 large bananas)
1 cup vanilla MD protein (available on Amazon)
1 cup PB2 powdered peanut butter (available on Amazon)
1 cup baking Splenda (available on Amazon)
1 cup of water
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
Coconut oil spray
Directions

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
Mash the bananas in a large mixing bowl.
Combine all other ingredients with the mashed bananas and mix until a batter forms.
Transfer the batter to a muffin tin sprayed with coconut oil. (Using silicon cups is optional.)
Bake for approximately 20 minutes.
